Sharon Baskett

CIA President and Event Planner, brings over 15 years of meeting and event experience to the benefit of CIA clients. Prior to starting The CIA, Sharon was a Convention Services Manager with the Edmonton Convention Centre; a Display Company Manager; a Program Planner and Manager with a Vancouver Incentive and Destination Management Company; and an Association Conference Manager.

Azmina Jinnah

Registration Manager, handles all aspects of the registration process for the CIA – registration confirmations, database management, financial management, brochure development, marketing material distribution, and on-site registration. Having previously worked with the Health Association of BC in a similar capacity, Azmina brings her strong organizational and financial skills to the CIA.

Christine Chepyha

Conference Planner, has been involved in the convention and conference industry for almost 20 years, working with healthcare associations, individuals and employers to create effective and successful meetings and tradeshows.  Christine is also active in the adult education field, managing programs in health and wellness for post-secondary institutions and private training companies.  As a professional musician, she has been on “both sides” of the meeting industry, and brings an exceptional level of organization and management expertise to her clients.
